Aqua Fun Zone Water Park at Adventure Bound Pleasant View
Experience the thrill of the Loki Slide, the Rocket, and a Trampoline at Ohio's unique floating water park.
What Is the Aqua Fun Zone?
The Aqua Fun Zone is Adventure Bound Pleasant View's crown jewel and the signature attraction that sets our Ohio campground apart from all others in the region. This custom-designed inflatable water park floats directly on our private pond, creating a unique and exciting water experience you simply cannot find at traditional campgrounds or water parks. The Aqua Fun Zone operates seasonally from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, coinciding with the warmest months when water activities are most enjoyed. The play area is netted off from the rest of the pond as a defined zone for water play. There is no lifeguard on duty — attendants are present during operating hours, “no lifeguard on duty” signage is posted at the pond, and guests swim at their own risk. Best of all, admission to the Aqua Fun Zone is completely free for every registered guest at Adventure Bound Pleasant View—it's included in your nightly camping fee, making it an exceptional value for families seeking all-inclusive vacation experiences. Unlike visiting commercial water parks where admission can cost $25-40 per person, your family enjoys unlimited water park access as part of your stay, allowing you to visit multiple times throughout your trip without additional costs.

The Aqua Fun Zone features three Aquaglide inflatable units floating directly on Pleasant View's private pond. The Loki Slide is the centerpiece — guests climb up and slide down into the pond. The Rocket is a floating inflatable platform built for climbing on, jumping from, and lounging between water sessions. A trampoline floats alongside, perfect for jumping into the water for a refreshing landing. The entire area is netted off from the rest of the pond as a defined play zone. There is no lifeguard on duty — attendants are present during operating hours and a “no lifeguard on duty” sign is posted at the pond. Guests swim at their own risk. Strong swimmers of all ages tend to gravitate to the Loki Slide and the Rocket, while younger children and less confident swimmers enjoy the trampoline and the lounging surfaces of the Rocket.
Who Is Aqua Fun Zone For?
The Aqua Fun Zone is built for confident swimmers who want to climb, slide, and jump on the pond. Children under our minimum swim and height requirements should stick to the swimming pool. School-age children (roughly ages 8-12) tend to be the heaviest users, with the Loki Slide drawing the most repeat trips and the trampoline becoming a favorite social spot. Teenagers and adults enjoy the Loki Slide and use the Rocket as a lounging and jumping platform. There is no lifeguard on duty — attendants are present during operating hours and a “no lifeguard on duty” sign is posted at the pond; guests swim at their own risk. Families with younger children typically split their day between the swimming pool and watching older siblings on the Aqua Fun Zone.

Themed Weekends and Special Events
Adventure Bound Pleasant View's special event weekends and themed programming transform the entire resort into celebrations that appeal to guests of all ages and interests. These events add tremendous value to a stay at Pleasant View and create memorable experiences that families remember and discuss for years. Halloween weekends are the most popular annual events, with three dedicated September weekends in 2026 (September 11–13, 18–20, and 25–27) offering comprehensive programming. Trick-or-treating happens throughout the campground with staff and volunteers serving as stations, distributing candy and prizes. Costume contests encourage creative outfits with judging categories for different age groups, ensuring everyone has a chance to win prizes. Haunted trails feature spooky experiences, jump scares, theatrical performances, and interactive elements that thrill children and adults without being too frightening for younger guests. Pumpkin decorating stations provide materials and instruction for families to create jack-o'-lanterns and decorated pumpkins displayed throughout the campground. Site-decorating contests encourage families to transform their campsites with Halloween decorations and lighting.
Christmas weekends bring festive transformations with holiday decorations adorning the campground, trees decorated with lights and ornaments, and holiday music playing throughout the resort. Character appearances might include Santa Claus meeting with children, distributing candy canes, and offering holiday greetings. Festive activities include gingerbread house decorating, holiday movie screenings under the stars, caroling performances, and craft sessions. Memorial Day weekend marks the season's opening with patriotic decorations, flag-raising ceremonies, and family-friendly entertainment celebrating American freedom. Independence Day programming includes patriotic themes, fireworks displays (where permitted), and red-white-and-blue themed contests and activities. Labor Day weekend extends summer fun with final-season celebrations, family games, and special programming before the campground transitions toward fall. Throughout the summer season, themed activity nights rotate through nature education programs, craft creation days, pool parties with music and dancing, outdoor movie nights with blankets and snacks, live entertainment performances, talent shows, and Kids Club daily programming with organized activities, competitions, and supervised play.
